How can I buy tickets for concerts at Notre-Dame?
Concert booking can only be made via our website or Fnac. You can find all the concerts for the current season here: https://musique-sacree-notredamedeparis.fr/en/2024-2025-season/
We are unable to take bookings by telephone, nor on site at the Cathedral or the Maîtrise.
If a concert is sold out, it is no longer possible to book a ticket. There is no need to come to the Cathedral on the evening of the concert.
If a concert is unavailable, new tickets may be put on sale. We invite you to register on the waiting list using the button provided.
Is it possible to cancel tickets or exchange between 2 concerts?
In accordance with article L.121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, tickets cannot be returned or exchanged. However, you are not required to show any form of identification at ticket control. You can therefore transfer your tickets to the person of your choice.
Can I change the name on my ticket?
Once your ticket has been personalized, it is no longer possible to change the name on your ticket. However, you are not required to show any form of identification at ticket control. You can therefore transfer your tickets to the person of your choice.
What can I do if I’ve got the wrong rate?
If you’ve got the wrong price, please contact us using the dedicated form.
I’m on a waiting list. When are seats released before a concert?
Depending on the concert, tickets may become available between 3 weeks and 3 days before the concert. You will be informed by e-mail. Please check your mailbox regularly.
Are there subscription packages for Notre-Dame concerts?
No, there is no subscription packages.
What should I do if I haven’t received my tickets?
If you have not received your tickets, first check that your payment has been validated. You should have received a payment confirmation!
If this is not the case, it is likely that an error occurred during your purchase. Please try again.
If your order has been validated, you should have received an email from no-reply@mapado.com with the subject line “Your order for…”.

Concerts: Organize your visit
What time do the Cathedral doors open for concerts?
Doors open 30 minutes before the concert start time indicated on your ticket. Access to the concert through the main entrance on the Cathedral forecourt.
Due to overcrowding, we advise you to arrive a little early.
Are the concerts accessible to people with reduced mobility?
The Cathedral is accessible to wheelchair users. A special entrance is indicated on the Cathedral forecourt. We advise you to arrive via Rue d’Arcole.
Special areas are provided inside the Cathedral. A companion with his/her own ticket can be placed nearby.
There are no special rates.

Can I visit the Cathedral with a concert ticket?
No, a concert ticket only allows access to the concert on the date scheduled. The Cathedral can only be visited during the day, from 8am to 7pm. It is not possible to visit the Cathedral after 7pm, nor after concerts.
How long does the concert last?

In most cases, concerts last around 1h15.
What if I’m late?
In case of late arrival: doors close 15 minutes after the concert start time indicated on your ticket. Access may be refused.
Is there a dress code for Notre-Dame concerts?
There’s no dress code for attending a concert at Notre-Dame, but we do ask that you dress decently!
Are there toilets at Notre-Dame?
No, there are no toilets at Notre-Dame.
Are pets permitted?
Pets are not allowed in the Cathedral, except medical assistance.

The Cathedral and its choir have always been proud to invite choirs from all over the world to sing in weekday auditions. This tradition will resume in 2026.
