Responsible of an unique knowledge in the world and an extraordinary intangible musical heritage, the Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris shines through France and around the world.

The Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris provides complete education in the field of solo and choral singing, from initiation to professional training. The diversity of the disciplines taught as well as the repertoires approached, the pedagogical monitoring of each singer, the openness to numerous partnerships with other large institutions make it an original structure where pedagogy and production enrich each other.

It is composed of :

Following the fire of Notre-Dame de Paris on April 15, 2019, the Maîtrise finds itself orphaned but continues its educational and musical activities. The liturgy is held in the Saint-Germain l’Auxerrois church and concerts are organized in different places in Paris, in the region and abroad.

    Elias, Mendelssohn

    Tickets available

    Elias is one of the best examples of what romantic oratorio was all about. The libretto is based on the biblical story of the prophet Elijah in the First Book of Kings. In addition to the protagonist, the score gives pride of place to the choir.

    During this concert organized in collaboration with the Swedish Embassy and now a tradition at Notre-Dame de Paris, Lucia candles will shine in the cathedral, their soft, warm glow accompanying the voices of the Adolf Fredrik Choir of Stockholm and the Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris.
