Since the Notre-Dame fire, the concert season has been mainly hosted by four churches: Saint-Eustache (Paris 1st), Saint-Séverin (Paris 5th), Saint-Etienne-du-Mont (Paris 5th) and Saint- Sulpice (Paris 6th).
In partnership with other halls and ensembles, the Maîtrise also has the pleasure of performing in concerts and tours, in Paris, France and abroad.
This is the opportunity for the Maîtrise to continue to offer to its audience a wide variety and diversity of repertoire, but also its constitutive elements, from great concerts with orchestra to soloists ensembles, that magnifies more intimate pages of the sacred repertoire, but just as moving.
At the program, major works from the repertoire, such as Fauré’s Requiem or Mozart’s one in partnership with the Paris Chamber Orchestra, but also cooperation that comes now to enrich our history, such as the concert of the Sankta Lucia, organized in partnership with the Embassy of Sweden, and bringing together the Children’s Choir and the Young Ensemble of the Maîtrise with the Adolf Fredrik Choir of Stockholm.
Still at the program, prestigious places to welcome the different ensembles of the Maîtrise, at the Châtelet Theater for a Christmas concert, at the Institut de France for a concert around Brahms, or even at the Collège des Bernardins with the Paris Conservatory around the Campra’s Requiem and Jean Gilles’ Lamentations.
Finally, trips and tours to the Abbaye-aux-Dames and the Seine Musicale with Raphaël Pichon, across the United States for a program of French music, or even a nice tour of the cathedrals of Auvergne with the National Orchestra of Auvergne…
The rest of the season is to be discovered. Stay alert to know all the surprises!
