Trained by some of the greatest masters, notably Olivier Latry at the Paris Conservatory, Sarah Kim captivates audiences with a style that is at once virtuosic, sensitive, and rich in tonal color. Having performed at prestigious venues such as Westminster Abbey in London and the Musikverein in Vienna, she is now recognized as one of the most talented organists of her generation.

This programme traces a musical journey through the great tensions of human existence: war and peace, death and resurrection, doubt and faith.
With Holst, Mars and Venus set the violence of conflict against the hope of peace, while Langlais's Gregorian Paraphrases give voice to prayer and consolation.
Vierne's Clair de Lune pays tribute to the organist of Notre-Dame, who died at his console, and Liszt's Legend of Saint Francis of Paola Walking on the Waves evokes a faith capable of bringing forth miracles and carrying humankind beyond its earthly limits.
Through these works, the organ becomes a voice of hope and transcendence.
