Bach and his predecessors

The Adult choir invites you into the heart of the German Baroque world.
Born in Italy, the Baroque was to spread throughout Europe.
Thanks to art and the daily practice of music, and despite an atrocious war that ruined it, the German people were able to acquire a homogeneity, a common movement, and a certain vision of the world.
From this living musical fabric emerged great composers such as Schütz and Buxtehude, of whom Bach would be the heir and most illustrious.
We invite you to explore almost 150 years of music.
